2004 Season - Week 4

Trading Day 1 is this Sunday at 3pm.

With just the Monday Night Kansas City @ Baltimore game to go here is the preliminary order for dropping duds and signing stars this weekend. Dave G will be first up to drop all of the players he wants to cut followed by Cheryl and so on through to Chief. Once all players have been dropped we will enjoy some fine food from Cheryl followed by a round-by-round replacing of the cut players again starting with Dave G then Cheryl and on through to Chief. Once all the trading has happened we will settle down to see the New York Giants @ Dallas and then what promises to be a great shoot-out, Seattle @ St Louis. The provisional trading order is 1 Dave G, 2 Cheryl, 3 Johnny, 4 John, 5 Andy H, 6 Aaron, 7 David S, 8 Phil, 9 Marcus, 10 AP, 11 Paul, 12 Mark, 13 Wayne, 14 Daz, 15 Ron, 16 Chief. The list of additional available players who have scored this season but were not on the original player salary list will be sent out on Thursday once we have seen the Monday Night Game. Remember if you are cutting a Franchise player you still have to pay him for the remainder of the contract. If you are coming over please let us know by Friday so Cher can do the catering. If you are not coming over but want to make changes email me how you intend to do this (email/phone/letter/proxy etc). If you are not changing anybody you are still very welcome to come over and enjoy the evening. We all need trading help. Collectively we have had a very sorry week 4 and need to have a long hard look at ourselves. With just Monday’s game to go we have scored 241 points this week - that’s an average of just 15 points per owner. In 1998 13 owners scored just 194 points for a 14.9 average. The second worst weekend was a 273 point total in 2001 when the 16 owners averaged 17.06 points. We need 33 points to pass that poor performance. Monday Night Football. We are at Johnny’s at 6:30pm on Tuesday to watch a crucial game for the collective BUMS pride as 4 Kansas City Chiefs (Green, Holmes, Gonzales and Vermeil) go up against 3 Baltimore Ravens (Stover, Lewis and Billick) as Heap is out injured.
